Old Town Canoes Sign
My introduction to an Old Town Canoe was my first fishing weekend visit to my college roommate's home in Northern Michigan...brown trout at night and bluegill and smallies during the day but first I got a lesson in canoeing. I was listening...what the front man's job is, what the back man's job is, how to turn, etc but my eye was on this beautiful wooden canoe. My parents didn't have furniture this nice!
We caught a lot of fish and we still do as I visit each year...and we still fish in that gorgeous canoe. And my first attempt at making an "antique" sign was this gift to him of "Old Town Canoes". My contribution every visit besides vintage scotch...I have to bring a replica sign. Seems he has a lot of friends who own Old Town Canoes!
You'll like yours also. Hand painted using the old logo, white with your choice of lettering color. Crackled paint, dents and scratches, distressed and age-toning give that nice prim feel.
Rusty hanging bracket on the back.
5.5" by 30". Signed and dated on the back.
Available with black, red, royal blue, brown, navy blue, mahogany or green lettering. Or if you prefer another color, let us know.
