Welcome to the shoppe of Early Times Mercantile, purveyors of simple,early and vintage goods. We are proud to offer you a variety of fine quality wares to complement your home or your boat. Like the crafts or trades people of old, all of our goods are made in America. We handcraft almost everything we sell, and also include some items from other handcrafters.
Since our items are mostly handmade, each will differ on an individual basis. Most of the items are distressed so some may be darker or lighter than others because we can't possibly make them identical. No two will ever be the same, but they will be close. Primitives are primitive....each may vary slightly in shades of colors, amount of distressing, amount of paint, etc.
We have been making primitive and vintage signs for over thirty years which makes it one of our specialties. Please be sure to take a look at what we offer and if you have a need for a custom sign, large or small, please let us know and we can talk.
If you find yourself on our website because you were directed here for vintage wooden boat signs or vintage outboard motor signs, don’t be surprised. The “woodies” are another love of ours and we make fantastic signs depicting names of the old wooden boat companies.
